I had the opportunity to travel to Boca Raton, Florida from May 27 through June 2 to study in-depth with Andy Broido. I met Andy in 2011 when I participated in a specialized Infant & Toddler Training Workshop. I was in her group and was very impressed with her knowledge and her sincere desire to answer questions and help everyone become excellent with specialized skills. Andy is one of the top Infant and Toddler swimming instructors in the nation, so it was an incredible opportunity to be able to spend five days with her this year.
My time with Andy helped me hone my own Infant and Toddler swim lesson program and pick up some of the newest methods for helping young people learn to swim. We’ve enhanced our current infant and toddler program to include more activities that are really helpful for getting babies comfortable with the water. Andy is full of life and passion for the swimming industry, and is selfless in giving her expertise so that others can develop and become excellent in their skills and businesses.
Andy is now working with our school on an ongoing basis, and we collaborate frequently over the phone and via email to maintain a first-class program for our youngest students. At the Barb Graeve Swim School, we are always working to teach swimming using the latest tried and true techniques. Our education never ends!
